Melissa Ordway's alter ego, Abby Newman maybe in a developing relationship with Arturo (Jason Canela) on 'The Young and the Restless, but in real-life she has one of the best marriages. Ordway met the man who would become her lifelong partner, Justin Gaston (ex-Ben Weston, Days of Our Lives) when they auditioned for a movie together. The happy couple met as they were filming "Escapee". In a conversation with CBS, Ordway highlights that they had to read together in front of the producers as a chemistry test. She also reflects and notes that when she first hugged him he smelled so good. They both got the part and have been inseparable ever since.
It was on September 22, 2012 that Gaston and Ordway took steps down the aisle in a private ceremony at a church in Atlanta. They recently celebrated their 6th wedding anniversary this past September. The happy couple share one child through adoption named Olivia and another daughter they named Sophie.
