John-Paul Lavoisier may have been the last actor tor play Philip Kiriakis on 'Days of Our Lives' but there were other actors who worked notably as well. Lavoisier exited the role on December 20, 2016 as his character shared an emotional goodbye with Victor [John Aniston]. Philip left Salem with the doors open for a return but how soon and who will return in the role?
With Lavoisier's exit, fans speculated that a former portrayer would have returned to reclaim the role role of Philip Kiriakis, however that hasn't happened yet. Given Philip's families ties and former lovers, a return could be very suited.
Some fans made it clear that they would love to see Jay Kenneth Johnson return. Johnson played the role from 1999 - 2002 and then took a five year break. He was replaced by Kyle Brandt who played the role from 2003 - 2006. After a 5 year absence, Johnson returned in 2007 and played the role until 2011. Since his exit from 'Days', he's played the role of Chip in 'Undercover Bridesmaids' and Gabe in 'Runaway Hearts'.
